How I extended our traditional court patch and got a grieving family on-side

I was the first ever EssexLive reporter to be dispatched to Walthamstow Coroner’s Court. On March 1, 2019 I covered the full inquest into Lauren Pinnock’s death and, afterwards, managed to get her grieving mum on-side.
